GABRIEL MORRIS: Greetings from Hampi in South India. Hampi was the former capital of an ancient empire from the 14th to 16th Centuries. There are ruins scattered all over the place here. The ruins had an obvious unique style, lots of detail and carvings. Touring around the beautiful boulder strewn landscapes here - desert with palm trees - is pretty cool.
